A selected body of architectural work developed through design studios, international competitions, and research-driven experiments, exploring how narrative, environment, technology, and material systems can shape future forms of living.
Overview
This portfolio brings together a range of architectural proposals developed at Harbin Institute of Technology across studio courses, summer programs, and speculative competitions. The projects move between terrestrial and extraterrestrial settings, cultural preservation and urban renewal, and experimental structures that connect environmental response with new spatial imaginaries.
Design Lens
Across the work, I focus on restrained composition, structural rhythm, and atmospheric visualization, while treating architecture as both a technical system and a narrative medium. The projects examine how circulation, folding structures, buried landscapes, climate-responsive streets, and hybrid digital-physical programs can generate spatial experiences that feel adaptive, memorable, and culturally grounded.
Selected Directions
The collection includes Starfold Archipelago, a lunar habitation proposal using foldable living units inspired by paper-cutting logic; Sand Dune, a theater for local minority culture partially buried beneath a wind-shaped landscape; Wind Valley EcoStreet, a research-oriented public space project combining environmental optimization, inclusive design, and interactive urban visualization; and DigitRiver Hotel, a high-rise proposal that rethinks hospitality through suspended structure, digital nomad culture, and the overlap between virtual and real urban life.
